Shoe's- A Girls Best Friend
It's another white day in Keller. Yes, another snow day. So far we've had about 8". That is quite abit for us. It is very beautiful. But, while beautiful it is a bit inconveniencing. I tried to get out of my driveway and got stuck. In Texas, I'm stuck in the snow. Go figure.
Now, the cool part of the day was that I worked from home. In between phone calls, I was able to catch a few TV shows. And am I glad I did! Kim Kardashian was on the Today Show and I learned that she has a shoe line. Actually it is a shoe club. It is the most interesting concept. So, of course I went online to check it out. Here is the scoop.
You will find these shoes at Shoedazzle.com. Shoedazzle is essentially a shoe of the month club. For a monthly fee of $39.00 you receive a new pair of shoes in the mail every month.
Really? I know you are wondering how this works? ShoeDazzle.com chooses shoes for you with thehelp of celebrity stylists such as Kim, other professional stylists, a fashion editor and HSN’s Designer Challenge expert MichaelBassolino. How do they do this? First, you fill out a survey to indicate your shoe taste. Then, after reviewing the answers on your survey, the stylists choose five pairs of shoes for you. If at any point you are not pleased with any of the five pairs of shoes chosen for you, you can request a new list. And third, you choose a pair of shoes from the list. The shoes are shipped free of charge. If you don’t like the pair onceit arrives at your door, you can send it back – but you are charged a$5.95 restocking fee.
Now, I can't attest for the quality of the shoes but I do think it is a great out of the box idea. Perhaps not for me. I would probably be divorced if I add a pair of shoes per month to my already full shoe closet but perhaps for the next person it might be something to check out. Let me know what you think!
