Tis the Season to go Shopping
I actually wrote the below blog on Monday, December 21st. Enjoy
It is so hard to believe that a new year is fastly approaching. I can say this year has flown by. While it has been extremely busy, at the same time this whirlwind has been fun. As I sit here and write, I think of the things that I need to do in order to get ready for Christmas. I have more shopping to do, gifts to wrap, clothes to pack, etc.
More shopping? Shopping is one of my favorite things to do. That is, when the malls are not shoulder to shoulder crowded. In addition to the fun of shopping for others, it is a great time to shop for new fall fashions. Every time I go out to buy for others I have to restrain myself from buying for myself.
While I have been out in the stores I have seen really nice items for women and men. I love the new sweaters that are out, the over the knee boots, the bomber jackets and ruffled shirts.
Plaid shirts are really out front in the windows of the Men's stores. Such vibrant colors. These shirts are paired with jeans both dark and light in cuts of skinny, slim and straight for the young at heart and the ole regular fit jeans for those who want something a bit more traditional. I've had the pleasure of purchasing a little bit of both for my son and husband.
There is so much out ther to choose from. Now, the one important thing that I must remember is that before I can purchase anything else for myself and I must remind others that we must clean out closests to prepare for this season change and to get rid of the old that just doesnt work any longer and put in the new that is fashionably stylish. What an exciting way to begin the year.
I will be discussing closet organization in my January newsletter. There will be tips that you just don't want to miss. I'm sure some will be refreshers for me too.
