Bible Psychodrama - Essence Magazine and the Slave Girl of Philippi (Acts 16:16-17)
The girl had skills. Her innate gifts spoke of possibilities few dared to imagine. She often spoke of spiritual matters and people sought her out for advice and wisdom. She had a connection with all the right people. She was in on the inside.
But despite her incredibile talents and gifts; what many people didn't realize was that when she spoke, she did not own her words. For as many people she guided in the right direction; the road she traveled had already been paved to a destination far from her home.
She who prodded and coaxed many to leave comfort zones in order to live lives to the fullest; existed in the predictability of a TIME when our beautiful stories, our happy and sad stories are not ours to own.
