Time Is the Only Coin We Get, Spend It Wisely

Time is the only coin we come into this world with. We must spend it wisely or someone will spend it for us. This is a paraphrase of a wise poet. And how true of a sentiment this really is.

I can recall being in relationships or situations that did nothing but eat up and waste my time. I allowed these things and/or people who were not about lifting me up or encouraging me, to literally tear me down and leave me discouraged. I spent way too much time investing in a bankrupt circumstance. If I didn't make change, I would end up broke(n).

I had to realize that I was here to do great things. I am here to emanate my Father's beauty and all His glory. I must spend my time manifesting His grace and His love.

Therefore, these days, especially in the economy of emotions, I spend wisely. I will not make any more sub-prime loans to people who are only interested in withdrawing and are not equipped to make true, heartfelt deposits. These days I will only invest in situations that offer a net gain, enough net losses.

Time is my life's currency and I want to make sure I have something to show for it.
