The Challenges of Ex's
Isn't it physically exhausting when you're forced to interact with those from the underbelly? But, it's so rewarding when you overcome and rise above the fray while being spiritually correct, positive and uplifting. Love does triumph over hate. And a calm state and low voice always wins over the irate and irrational.
Ex's can be extremely difficult to interact with. You're often left wondering how did you ever get connected with the individual in the first place. Where was your mind, and more importantly, where were your family and friends? After all, everyone saw it, but you. Now they're so quick to say that you would have never listened to them. And, they didn't want to become estranged from you because they didn't like your mate. But, that's exactly what happened. They no longer came around because they couldn't stand watching your imminent pain. So as a result, you suffered alone through the process of realizing that no matter how much you tried, this marriage/relationship could not be saved by yourself. And so, it was time to wake up, re-compose, rejuvenate, and relocate. For sake of your sanity and needless to say, self esteem, you had to move on.
Now, although you're harboring no anger and forgiveness flows without hesitation, you still wonder if you needed that painful experience to grow. You often say that you could have just heard about it and understood it and grown from someone else's pain. You really didn't need to actually go through it to get it.
But since there are no accidents in life and no mistakes, you must be stronger from it. Right?
