HUGE Announcement! ! !
I have been incognito for a while, but it wasn't just because I didn't want to be bothered with you guys. It has taken me 4.5 years to get serious about my book and the last 3 months to finish it! My lent sacrifice was TIME and I was using that time to finish the book (which took prayer, lol). I am proud to say that the launch date is March 31, 2010!
"lov1978...This is My Testimony" is the title of the book. It is portions of my testimony based on poems I wrote in high school. I give you a poem, my testimony and how God helped me turn things around. Then there are scriptures and space for reflection. It's a healing reflection journal.
I know what you're thinking, "another book of poetry." Understand this, it's not just a book of poetry, it's a journey illustrated in words and designed to meet you right where you are. God is calling for transparency in the body of Christ in order to help those both inside and outside of the Body begin to face what they have only been fixing, masking and hiding for so long.
In my first authored piece, I step outside the box of secrecy and tell the truth about coming up with addicted parents, a cold heart and mental issues in order to help someone else find God like I did. It's time to stop asking God to fix stuff and start asking Him to help us face it so we can move on.
There are some other nuggets that I can't tell you about! The release date is 3/31/10! I will be posting more information on how to obtain the book then.
