It looks like that free Online Grant Proposal Writing Class I mentioned earlier will be a reality after all. It is scheduled to begin in January of 2010 on a first-come, first-served basis. People will have to pay a very low fee for the binder that comes with the course; it is full of hundreds of pages of important information, some in hard copy and some in a reusable thumb drive. All in all, this is an intense course covering every aspect of the grant writing process. People can join at any point along the course, which features different topics each week; there is lots of reading (but it is broken into easily-digestible sections), a slow technical vocabulary building approach, and hands-on assignments.
