This is my poetic side enjoy....

By Shekeira Kerrine *stage name Quintessential* (copy written 2009)

At the point of no return
Just like that pit in one's stomach
Every life's lesson learn
We should cherish every moment
To MISS interpret a glance as a stare everyone's fears
But Who Cares
cause your the only one looking
Playing truth or dare does he/she loves me or loves me not
As the petals fall at your feet
One of the most common humane mistakes is capitalized with defeat
So he looks at her with lustful eyes
and tells her that she's sweet
A sealed kiss with disappointment but yet she has to remain mild and meek?
To each is one's own
Now someone to bone
Did they learn or has it grown?
He wants her to be the one
But
Can only look at her like the number two
And only chill will until 2am
Or
Until the hotel phone ring telling them they're threw
While she wants to stand on her own
Or maybe between the blocks of the middle and pinky on the left hand side
She will only Jump Off
But not over brooms
She damn sure will never be a bride
So little black girl sitting in a Cadillac
A pimp daddy that's all he is to you
Growing and Maturity will one day Hun catch you by the hand
Never again can the world define you
Or
Just to be a body on an arm of a man
