Just laying here

Time has crept on

Dusk has turned into day break

Nights with out you seem impossibly long

I imagine rolling over and seeing your face

I imagine feeling your hands around my waist

I imagine its us again

Just you and me

Lost in our own abyss

Unafraid of the world changing around us

Uncaring what we might miss

For we have all that we need

We have our only ones

Life never stopped

Time never truly stood still

Yet with you in my life

There was no time to notice

It seems as though when we are together

Time flies by

Eclipsing our progress

Yet when we are apart

Its as if it stands still

And oxymoron for the

Heart

Insanity is what it offers

What it gives at will

I know that I shall grace your presence again soon

Once again you will be physically in my life

Until then I just lay here in the dark

Rolling from dusk to dawn

Waiting for things to again be right

I am just laying here waiting on you
