This is written for a special occasion: For a very special day.. Kisses to the wind. Each night before I lay My head I stare at the sky And wonder if you are seeing the same stars as I Each night before I dream I softly send a prayer On the wings of the wind I whisper words of safety and protection I pray that you are alright I pray that love and divine intervention shelter you I whisper words to flutter in the night I whisper words of warmth Sending soft hugs and kisses I whisper words of adoration I whisper words of misses I miss hearing your laugh Although its never graced my ears I miss seeing the brightness of your smile And wiping away those tears I miss things that I have never done Yet it feels as though I was meant to do My arms feel vacant as I cant hold you Although you have never graced my presence I have never felt your touch Your words have enveloped my life Showing me just how much Life has to offer On the trail of the wind I pray I whisper thoughts of my heart Each and every day I hope this note finds you smiling Grinning from ear to ear On this very special day I bid you will shed no tears On this very special day God has blessed me with you I whisper words of thanks I whisper words of a dream come true For now since I cant hold you close And plant a kiss on each eye lid I pray the wind strokes your face each and every day Know that it is my hands which gently touch your skin That warm feeling that surges through your heart Are my wishes For you are my dream come true I whisper words to the heavens thanking them for you
