So, you have a mountain to move???

One thing we can be certain of in life, is there are going to be changes. Everything changes. Sometimes drastic, and some times little by little over time. And the same is true for our spiritual lives. One day we are high on the peak of the mountain, the next we are down in the valley. And it's during those valley moments we have opportunities to grow. Looking at my life, I can't really tell if I am on the Mountain top or in the Valley because I am in HIS perfect Peace. But one thing I do know, is that I have a few mountains I need to move. Today, when I went to read my scripture, I started to read Matthew 17:20. And when I read verses 20, I started to think to myself..."I am going to say to these Mountains, MOVE!!!!! and as scripture says, they have GOT to move! But how disappointed I would have been, if I had stopped reading there, spoke to my mountains, and realized they did not move an inch! See, just this morning, before I started my morning reading in my office, I said a prayer. And I prayed for the Lord to give me wisdom and knowledge in HIS WORD as to what I need to do. And He answered that simple prayer. Because right before I closed my Bible with my revelation to speak to my Mountain, I read verse 21. "HOWEVER, THIS KIND DOES NOT GO OUT EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING." And I sat there with my mouth open. Because, God had answered my prayer from earlier that morning, to give me instruction in HIS WORD. And HE would not allow me to close my Bible, without reading HOW to move my mountain! And I am so thankful for that!

Yes, we all have Mountains that need to be moved. And yes, with faith, we can speak to our mountains and they will move. BUT...remember...in order to move those mountains, we need to fast and pray.
