Blinders Can Keep You Focused

In my earlier life I had the honor of living on a farm during the summer months and my family was not wealthy enough to have a tractor, so plowing meant dealing with a mule. One of the questions I had was why the mule’s harness had blinders on it. The answer was simple and explains why our thoughts are often so scattered. The blinders were necessary to keep the mule's focus directly in front of him and to keep him from being distracted by other things that might be going on around him.

I contend we all need blinders, with ALTF directly in front of us to get us where we want to be, and what a harvest we will enjoy from our labor.
