What Tupac's life meant to me
As a young lady growing up in an all black community and dealing with the good and bad of that Tupac gave a voice and outlet for all that I saw and could have experienced if I wasn't careful. I was fortunate because I had a community behind me pushing me on and believing in me and thank God that I had the witherwithall to take their advice and go on because I know many people who made choices and just weren't able to get out of them. Thank you Lord. But Tupac wasn't just about gangsta or fun times. He was a voice, a mentor and a young man still growing into hisself. For all the problems black people have it sure would be nice if we would squash all of this hipocritical, self righteous bantor and just love each other for who or what we are. If you listen closely to him you'd know that is one of the main things he spoke of. From telling young teenage mothers to keep their heads up to telling biatches to not let someone else talk them down. Know what you are and refuse to allow others to take you off of that. Love you Pac.
