AIDING & ABETTING “F.E.A.R” - Guilty by Association

There is something liberating about writing down your goals. However, the enormous and seemingly daunting task ahead to accomplish that goal becomes factual when pinned. As you move forward from where you are now, to where you want to be, you will have to confront your fears.
F.E.A.R is simply, False Evidence Appearing Real.

It shows up when your credit score dictates you won't get the loan you need for your daycare.
It shows up after your business has hit a lull, and you experience a decrease in your revenue.
It shows up when you compare your success to someone who has accomplished more than you in a shorter time frame.
It shows up when you have more empty seats than full at your annual event.

Though these scenarios are real, they must be confronted. Do not be found in a position of "aiding and abetting" fear. Your silence in the matter can be interpreted as agreement, and will cause you to become guilty by association. You have to arrest fear by redirecting it through words:

I will obtain the loan I need for the daycare by cleaning up my credit within 60 days.
I will spruce up my marketing strategy to raise the revenues in my business.
I will make the accomplishments I need to in my designated timing, even if it seems I am behind. I will increase attendance through proper marketing next year, and I will have better results.

Your words of positive affirmation disassociate you from the nagging fear of failure. You must see yourself signing the contract, having increased revenues, and developing the right marketing strategy that is effective for your business. You will produce what you perceive.

This is true even on a personal and spiritual level. Learn to replace the physical feelings of fear with how you would like to feel and the things you would like to experience. Replace the feeling of discouragement with courage and reassurance; replace the lack of confidence in your ability to succeed with a fresh zeal of self-confidence; get rid of that nagging, sinking, sickening feeling of worry and replace it with peace, calm and contagious joy. Your feelings influence your perception, so change how you feel. Do this by listening to positive affirmation coming from leaders in the industry on "self-help". Read books that have the answers to strategic marketing. Surround yourself with positive people who understand how to get to the other side of a struggle and prevail. Tell yourself that you are not in your current position to lose or fail, and the answers you need are looking for you and will find you. Ask for help from people who have the same interest as you and who are not selfish with their knowledge.

F.E.A.R is temporary. It only takes up residence where there is a WELCOME mat. Do not lend strength to false evidence appearing real. Do not become a silent partner in the crime of fear. Adjust the evidence in your life to work in your favor, and kick fear out the door. You can do it.
