I published "Crooked Road Straight: The Awakening of AIDS Activist Linda Jordan" because Black and Latina women in the U.S. are dying. I wrote this work of literary non-fiction over 12 years. Fortunately my friends - professional editors and designers - helped me edit and design it. Now, I'm looking for good women to tell their friends, bookclubs, schools, churches and community groups who work with this nation's most vulnerable populations to buy it and to share it. My message and the message of Linda Jordan is simple: Together we can stop the spread of HIV/AIDS all of us, whether we are rich, poor, negative or positive. It's time to stop sitting on the fence Let's stand in the gap for those who can't for long as it takes.
