IS IT OK TO BE BLACK OR HISPANIC AND SEEK HELP
I NEVER KNEW SOMEONE CLOSE 2 ME THAT COMMITTED SUICIDE UNTIL TODAY. WE TAKE 4 GRANTED EVERY SMILING FACE AND THE SOUND OF LAUGHTER. WE TAKE 4 GRANTED LIFE, NOT KNOWING A SIMPLE SMILE, A HI, HOW R U DOING?, OR HOW'S UR DAY? CAN GO A LONG WAY. WE HAVE THIS STIGMA ATTACHED TO SEEKING PROFESSIONAL HELP OR SEEKING GOD FOR GUIDANCE. SOME OF US FEEL THAT, " WE GOT THIS", "I CAN HANDLE THIS", AND "I DON'T NEED NO HELP". TO ALL MY SISTERS AND BROTHERS HOLD ON TO GOD'S UNCHANGING HAND AND CAST YOUR BURDENS UPON HIM. NEVER LET UR SITUATION GET BIGGER THAN LIFE. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE FOR WE ALL HAVE A LOG IN OUR EYE. READ MATTHEW 7.

Awww Nita I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I never knew children committed suicide until I had a friend of mine do it in 6th grade. I carried the pain for a long wondering what I could have done to make her feel better. But I realized (years later) that the most important thing you can do is enjoy each day for what its worth and when someone reaches out quickly take their hand. We all have our own set of internal pressure valves some know how to control theirs better than others. Yes God will carry you through this just know that life is a choice too and for some they feel it's a decision they no longer want to keep. Keep your head up and keep keeping on.
