Big Hug

Tonight he gave me a big hug. The kind that I never had before. You know the kind, like when you were a little girl holding your favorite blanket or doll. The kind that makes you feel like the sun is shining only on you. That big hug made me awaken from a long walking slumber. I was walking around with my eyes closed . I am alive once again. I am watching him as I write, he brings me so much joy. His eyes, his smile. I love his smile. Does he know ? I have told him bits and pieces, but not all. How could I tell him he has come and changed my entire life around ? Wasn't that a line from Miki Howard's "Love Under New Management"? If so, it was a true statement. Just like a whirlwind he blew into my life and carried away all of the leftover trash. Emotional trash ,hurt and even my sense of despair. That big hug made me feel so good tonight. I love my big hug.
