Rainy Carolina Morning

The weather is mild. Yet the skies have once again opened to reveal it's tears to us. So many tears of the fallen, of those still standing, of those on their way up and those who can't go any lower. It is the morning after a night of uncertain passion, filled with whispered promises. It is the morning after a day of frustration and an evening of tears and in between thanks for small blessings received. Somewhere a child is being born, somewhere a loved one is dying. In between that,someone is falling in love. In the midst of that,someone has fallen out of love. Am I one of these people or am I both of them ? I don't know. Is my heart broken today? If it is or was, the repair has been done before I felt the pain of it all. I called the repair man to fix it. Is he about 6'3 or 6'1? I don't know, I never really looked at him.I just know that when I call him, he answers . Sometimes he takes a while to fix what I want. That's the time I figure he didn't get my call. Just when I start to think that way, he fixes what I want. I can't give you his direct line, I don't have it. When I want him to fix something, I just start speaking and he somehow hears my call. I bet you know him though, some call him Jesus,some call him Allah,Jehovah, and even Buddha. What ever you prefer, he answers. I always get angry, and wonder why things break around me. He says, don't get mad. Just try to always do the right thing and I will fix everything else. My reply.."Thank you Jesus!". Today, I called him to thank him for the rain this morning. I could tell he was smiling because many people don't like the rain. I like the rain, it promotes growth. RAIN MAKES THINGS GROW, even us. When it rains we take time to slow down and think. When it rains we take time to love each other. Jesus is love. Remember, to love today everyone.
