Trying to stay Positive

Elishia Peterson · Thursday, February 5th 2009 at 4:25PM · 164 views
Among all that I am feeling right now, the pressure of graduating from college, moving back at home with my parents, searching for a job, finding my way in my career, all of these emotions passing through my body. Out of all of these things, all I can manage to do is stay positive, think positive, be positive, look positive, just to make it through the day. I want to keep the momentum going and not drop the ball but minute after minute and hour after hour, my head begins to pound and the pressure comes back again. Why is it so hard to stay sane? *Elishia

STOP THINKING SO HARD... WHEN YOU COMPLETELY LET GO & PUT EVERYTHING IN GODS "TO DO" BOX, THINGS HAVE HAS A WAY OF WORKING THEMSELVES OUT!!! IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO REALIZE THAT AND LONGER TO BELIEVE IT. KNOW THAT WHEN IT'S YOUR TIME (NOT ON YOUR TIME) EVERYTHING WILL FALL INTO PLACE.

Elisha, I can say what works for me. Prayer. By all means balancing life's challenges can be difficult. However, your spiritual balance must be present. Fellowship with church members too if at a ll possible.Lean on your immediate circle of support. Ensure that you are interacting with friends & family that love and support you. Lastly, hit the gym. Yes, I've taken hip hop aerobics and a cycling class. This helps me de-stress while burning some calories. Overall, Let Go & Let God & God Bless.

Elishia,
There are so many pressures in this world that are constantly bombarding us that insanity would seem to be a good thing! (((Lol))) You like many are having to deal with a poor economy---people are losing their jobs left and right.

I know exactly what you must be feeling since I have been there before. Goodness...who wants to move back home with their parents after experiencing the freedom of domitory life. I know I didn't. Just take it one day at a time (easier said than done) and try to Exhale every once in a while.
