Has anyone else heard rumors that Predident Bush is planning to utilize Article 54 of the United States Constitution? This amendment basically gives him the executive authority to put Martial Law in place, siting that he suspects Civil War, or some other foreign invation, and run EVERYTHING from the public services, to foreign policies. Basically becoming a dictator. This is what Fidel Castro did 40 odd years ago in Cuba. Bush is also planning to air strike Syria later this month, which will give him justification to implement Article 54. He still has 70 something days as President to do more damage that he has already done, according to one radio show, and there is a quiet coup underway.
I am just as thrilled and proud as all of my other brothers and sisters of the Obama familie's accomplishments. His ascention from only 28 delegates in 2006 to winning the Democratic nomination, and becoming our incumbent President. and up until now, I have REFUSED to be swayed by fear or doubt. So Please, PLEASE tell me that these recent rumors are only more scare tactics to keep us from truly rejoicing, celebrating and embracing our wonderful Obama family as our newest leasers who will soon reside in the WHITE house.

Deirdre,
I haven't heard anything like this, but I suspect these are just more scare tactics. President Bush and his family are planning to leave the White House peacefully without any such nonsense. I think President Bush is trying to better his legacy not defame it any more than it already is, don't you?

Even though victory has been won, I don't put anything pass what men in power will do when their days are numbered. What counts are God's plans !
