After 32 years The Labelles have come together for another classic album! Patty, Nona, and Sarah say that they broke up three decades ago to pursue their own dreams and explore their talents but now they’re back. The girls say that their musical and personal experiences will make them even better as a group now. They worked with Lenny Kravitz among others to put this album together and a tour is on the horizon. They haven’t lost their edge and Patti says “Anyone that knows The Labelles knows that we don’t hold anything back”. Back To Now is in stores now so stay tuned for my review.
Beyonce Speaks!
In the new issue of Essence Magazine Beyonce finally gives her fans a small peek into her private life. “What Jay and I have is real…” she explains. “It’s not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It’s real.” No celebrity in this day and age has been able to keep their personal life personal but some how Hova and B are keeping it sacred. She told Essence that she’s not a traditional girl. The wedding was simple and intimate. The hoopla of a big wedding just didn’t appeal to her. And an engagement ring isn’t her style either. She feels people put too much emphasis on them so on her ring finger you will find a wedding band and a tattoo of the Roman numeral four that her and her husband have alike. Should their whole life be on display just because America is star crazy?! No. We don’t want our business all in the streets….or do we? Jay and B, I’m glad you have found love and sanity in the crazy world that you live in.

Lenny Kravitz...hmmm this should be a very interesting album for Patty and the rest of the girls. The Divas are back! Thanks for the post R&B Chick.
