Obama: Be on your guard regarding polls, and studies from institutions (169 hits)
"1/4 whites attribute 2 negatives to Blacks", and 2/3 say they will vote for Obama. I read this on Yahoo. I thought about it,but decided that even though it's a Stanford study, I was not comfortable with it. The American public has to get on board tech wise..because the figures by the campaign leaders are on the website and certainly if anyone attends an Obama Camp, or training session , they will get the actual figures.
I have posted pictures , everytime I attend an Obama event, the visual seen indicates that white Americans are out in droves supporting his campaign. This number of 90 % of Blacks supporting Obama does not necessarily translate well. 90% of what figure? My empirical observation shows that the majority of supporters of Obama are white, Asian and Hispanic.
There were 2 Blacks 1 Hispanic and 34 whites, trudging on a Sunday afternoon, thorugh Bristol, Pa to get him elected doing door to door canvassing. The study is skewed by using finite numbers and mixing them with percentages without fully identifying the ethnic make up of the demographics studied.
I was around during Jensen & Shockley's book on his analysis of the supposed inferior intelligence of African Americans as documented in his book "The Bell Curve" and he was (Jensen) a professor Emeritus with outstanding credentials, regardless of the "myth" being debunked it permeated white society.
So this study to me as a social scientist is poorly controlled statistical data. Obama has to win Pensylvania.
