I am a Volunteer on the Obama Campaign, tomorrow Saturday 20, 2008 I will be at an OBAMA camp for continued training: Here are the figures and you can do your own calculation, if you passed statistics unlike me:-)

Now that the economy is back front-and-center (where it should've been all along), we need to pass this kind of information on to everyone... FYI, the working 'tax calculator' link is http://alchemytoday.com/obamataxcut/ (the one below points to http://alchemytoday.com/willobamaraisemyta... which seem to be an older, non-working version of that same calculator webpage). I plugged in my numbers (married, one-earner; 1 dependent; $75k income) and obtained the following result:
Your Obama Tax Cut is: $478.92
I revised the input data to project the cut if my wife returns to work with an income equal to mine (Married, two-earner; 1 dependent; $150k income) and obtained the following (even more pleasing) result:
Your Obama Tax Cut is: $3,526.76
Also, while plugging in different variables to check the results, I noticed that Obama's tax cuts benefit those earning $50k or less far more than McCain's, often providing more than twice the tax cut these lower-income workers would receive under McPain's plan. So much for McPain's lies that Obama would burden the working class with higher taxes...
