Book Review: Infatuation by E. Hughes (our own sister) E.Private (118 hits)

I walked with the protagonist Georgine, everywhere she went. She lives the kind of dream that women would follow if we could. Passion, tenderness and the inevitable hurts that knock us out of our dreamlike consciousness,
she counter punches with determination.

This story touches on turning mistakes into achievements,in redefining ourselves. In believing and fighting the doubts, especially in the diaphanous state of being in love.

An American living in Paris..living her dreams..despite doubts from family, she forges ahead to move out of the shadows of her "executive-ly" successful sister to make her own way.

I could've been this young woman, had not my dreams been deferred. There is a lot of French and some Italian phrases, and it serves to include the reader on the journey.

It's a book to read, after days of crunching numbers, making a sales pitch, running a household..a quick escape, it has a nice fast flow and pace. I recommend it for all romantics, even die hards, who no longer believe...
