Clinton's Speech in it's entirety (if you are interested) (90 hits)
There is nothing in this speech that aids Obama directly for the awful, NEGATIVE things she said about him.
During a Campaign, you bring out the acts of the person, not attack him or her personally. This election is is holding everyone to a different recognition. 2. talking about his race and then using that as a means to underpin his "ability" which they are covertly applying as his "experience" but the fact of the matter is they took the word "ability" and transformed into what appears legit by saying he has no experience. Well neither has any other President had experience in the White House.
Stay with me now, ability or experience? Does he havethe ability? yes. Does he have the expereince ? no and neither did Clinton, Reagan or Bush.
The requiremenst for Presidency are that you are 35-years of age and a United States Citizen. His detractors in the GOP have been using the question of his "citizenship to drive the point home that he is not "qualified" so now we have a new code word.
His lack of "ability" and "qualifications" are being rammed into the g round by Fox, Rush Limbaugh, and Right wing liberals. Hence, the Hillary supporter frothing at the mouth shouting "he is an inadequate Black male." I have to laugh-- I have never known a brother who is skinny and tall to be "inadequate." lol I have to laugh here myself.
When Fox news spoke about Michelle being an "obama Momma" Star Jones let the media know in no uncertain terms if you come for "Michelle" you are going to have to "come" for all us!!
What was said, was there would be a "lynching," that was going too far. But Clinton is the one who opened the door for race baiting in this election. Him & Her.
All this talk about POSITIVITY? on this site, well, let me understand this! you would let them come after our sister "Michelle" really? So would you run the other way?
As I have been saying in my blogs, people you'd better use this election as the opportunity as the once in the lifetime that we Black people in the diaspora can come together.
They know us better than us we know ourselves, the fear of whites is still in the genes for some. And the awe. My 22 year old can account to that.
I personally know I would not walk away if they come to "lynch" one of my sisters. Justice Clarence Thomas spoke of a "high tech lynching" during his nomination to the Supreme Court. If you go about life like it's ok, and you have arrived, without any sense of responsibility to one's, culture then you leave your self open to exploitation.
Until you reach the status of extreme wealth, which none of us have on this site, because no one who is a multi mulit-millionaire needs to be here, their social network is on another level our only HOPE is to band together and stay together despite our differences.
Let's not get truth and negativity confused. Just like Obama stated " I don't need a "yes" man' to help me lead, and so we don't need to just talk all about "niceties" It dumbs down the understanding of the political process and how it affects our lives.
Less than 20 percent of the sisters on this site will go out and vote. Girl I got to get my nails did..ok..Missy's , not "well, let me plan my day so I can get my nails and hair done, work and hang with my girls and still VOTE. Apathy and Attitude.
My next queston for the next 4 years, when the whiners come out, is well did you go and vote? Naw girl, my vote don't count. Well I have heard that throughout every election, in this country.
Well, I guess not if you didn't put anything in the kitty!! Call your election department have them send you and absentee ballot, if you know you won't make it to the polls or even if you don't feel like physically going there and fill out your absentee ballot and mail it in.!! It's Your Country, Your President, Your future.
