There is another article a female in NY bought the shirt wore it and received a beat down so now she is suing the guy who created the tee-shirt. And this is what makes the world go around.

Woman Assaulted After Wearing Obama T-Shirt
July 18th, 2008 | Author: Anthony Springer Jr

A 25-year-old woman in New York City is suing the designer of an anti-Barack Obama t-shirt after she was assaulted while wearing one of his controversial t-shirts.

The woman, who has not been identified, purchased a shirt with the words “Obama is My Slave” shirt for $69. While wearing the shirt this past Tuesday, she was assaulted by four girls, who pushed her down, pulled out her earphones, and spit in her face according to the New York Metro News.

Apollo Braun—the Israeli born designer who made the shirt—is now saying the victim of the attack is trying to sue him for “all he’s got.”

Braun claims that his designs reflect the views of “ordinary WASPs (White Anglo Saxon Protestants).”

“For a lot of people, when they see Obama, they see a slave. People think America is not ready for a black president,” Braun told Metro.

In addition to the “Obama Is My Slave” tee, Braun has also designed shirts with the following slogans: “Jews Against Obama,” “Obama=Hitler,” and “Who Killed Obama?”

The latter shirt, Braun says, is the most popular.

Braun says the only thing he likes about Obama is that he’s black because his ethnicity “opens the door for minorities.” He also says he doesn’t like Obama because “he is a Muslim” and “he reminds me of Adolf Hitler.”

The Muslim rumor has already been debunked.

The white male, the prime organizer of the white supremacy system/culture, is thus aware(although perhaps at deep unconscious levels)that his original mother was a black woman(just as his original father was a black man). Therefore, in spite of the overt psychological need to repress this fundamental knowledge of origin, the conscious recognition of which would necessitate a confrontation with the genetic mutant and genetic defective status of skin whiteness(albinism), therefore within the unconscious psyche of the white collective is an awareness of their origin. They cannot even express simple endearment because it does not exist in the majority as a whole. So we can't look for love in some places, it simply is not in everyone as we would like to believe.So.... to design a shirt to not remind you who you really are is symbolic for their ego.

I think this election more so than any other before it, has shown that racism is alive and well in our country. I'm so happy that Barack has made it this far, but I'm skeptical about whether or not whites (and some blacks for that matter) will vote for/elect him. And then there's the Electoral College to be considered. It wouldn't be the first time in our history where the popular vote and electoral vote differed...

That's right, so where is plan,A,B, C, to Z ? Just in the event. We all know, there isn't one. It's no mystery we have a shortage of leaders. When and how do we even begin to prepare? This country is tore up ! I can't foretell the future but whoever wins has a serious job to do to get this country back up and running. And although the president has a lot of pull, it always have been and will be congress running the whole shebanga- boodle. They taught us that in school. We'll see ,it's all going to be very interesting.I'm not only glad that this will be an historical event and that our time has come.I'm glad that no matter the outcome, we are finally waking up! Little by little and each by inch. Sooner or later, it's destined that we'll get there. I'm hoping it will be sooner so that I can enjoy the victory too.

I truly wish there was a back-up plan. Too many times, there are Blacks that are willing to sit back and enjoy the fruits of the labor from other folk. Which given our American History, I think one SHOULD think carefully beforehand. I've talked to a lot people that are younger than me and they either feel that Blacks can't do it, OR that a Black person will be assassinated if he/she tries to buck against the status quo. Something really bad happened in my community this summer, and I've been dramatically changed. I am no longer content to just let things happen and be silent. I'm going to start patronizing my elected officials, i.e., Congressman because they truly have the bulk of power in this country. All of us need to do this. I agree with you that the presidential election is just one BIG step in the right direction.

Yes,that's all we can do for them, they have to seek the knowledge of truth for themselves. No one else can do it. Unfortunately, when the time comes, which is now, a lot of our people will be left behind. There were those that stayed behind (by choice), when Harriet Tubman had the plan and their backs but still refused to take the chance and move ahead. We prayed for them too. It'll take God's Good Grace and favor to awaken them from that deep sleep.(I call it the Snow White Sleeping Beauty Syndrome) Remember, it took the loving kiss of the prince to come along and save the day at the end.Let us continue to pray.

Sister Special Sanders, I among others are working towards developing plans. Plans for our future, our children. A better world. We don't sit around and wait for things to happen, we are the happenings.Everybody out here otta make some noise. Especially,in the event that (God forbid) , the rug is pulled out from under our feet. Right now my job is waking up folks from the dead, taking the shackles off their minds, blinders off their eyes and hatred out of their hearts.Once the majority of them awaken, the plan can be easily executed. A heap see's but a few know ! Actually we're right around the bend and closer than we think. Peace. Wednesday, August 27th 2008 at 5:14PM
