This is a love nudge..please get involved. on MyBarackObama.com is the thousands of events in YOUR community everyday..supporting the next President of the United States. Those of us who didn't lift a a finger during the civil rights era, now have a chance to redeem ourselves. There are spiritual groups for Obama, folks who drink Margarita's for Obama, u name it they got it. Please my dear friends do not sit on the sidelines, I am asking you personally to attend at least one event, a boat ride, BBQ, anything to show your support , and don't forget to donate and yes $1.00 donation is very, very much appreciated ..do the math..it's one dollar times 1 million other people.This election is ours..we will soon get to sit on "the rules committee" much love. 1. Marta as a foreigner, I have a very different outlook on, who has the power. Now we will have a President in office to consider our collective interests. There are many thing you can do, that are a "small" gesture. Drive an elderly person or an 18-year-old to the polls on election day,ask your own family members to volunteer, or send a donation, or hold a get together in your house. It's all available on his site. Thanks again, this is why the ruling society feels so empowered, they get involved, they own it. Own this!!! I vowed to donate $5.00 a month..big deal? yes it's a big deal.
I am a member of MyBarackObama.com. My son gave a donation 1 year ago, before I even knew what the history unfolding before me was about. I understand,that a lot of you haven't gotten on this page called "political empowerment" "self-governance" well, this is a heads up..Black people need to stop acting like slaves and act like leaders - with the same rank as any white man, if you find ourself with that title. The sense of entitlement that white people have,maybe appropriate after all, don't they contribute and take charge? and don't we have to go ask them..for what we need and want instead of building it ourselves? Here is the chance for those of us who consider ourselves empowered. There are doers and there are beggers. The doers give to receive, the beggers, give nothing and want something for that nothing!! :-)
