I feel that there is a lot of envy in our race. The other races have discovered this. Sometimes they, especially racist individuals, play us against one another. Can you blame them? We have given them the weapon. The comments Rev. Jackson said, whether he knew his mic was on, or not, were very ignorant and embarrassing. Again, proof that others will play us against one another. Jesse ought to be smarter than that. He should lay low. We should all give Obama a chance to prove who he is once he does get into office. If Obama does not live up to his promises, then go afer him, like we should for any President, no matter what the race.
I agree with you on this. We spend more time fignting ourselves then working together despite our differences of oppinion. Just like with Bush, if Obama turns out not able to back what he says.....4 years and we can find a new person for the job. The biggist question I have though is this. Just because we have a influential Black person in Politics, why do people think that these people represent what the black people as a whole have to say? I myself don't agree with half the statements they make on or off the record.. It seems that todays media is itching to get any sound bites that will put devision among us.
