Here I am on "Purple Passion." A really quick story about her: I wanted to buy a motorcycle after watching my mother die from cancer. Upon her death, I realized life is way too short and I needed to do something exciting with my life. So I looked for the perfect motorcycle. I came across this bike and bought it on sight. When I went to the bank to get a cashier's check, I kept messing up on the date on the withdrawal slip for some reason. After the fourth try, I realized the date was July 17, the anniversary date of my mother's death. I also realized that although the bike was not the color I wanted, I had to keep it purple since it is my mother's favorite color and it was strangely purchased on such a significant day.
My mother and I bought a home together just two weeks after finding out she had cancer. As a way to keep herself busy and to take her mind off of her illness, my mom planted flowers and trees all over our yard. Every Spring and Summer I am so amazed and blesses to not only ride my purple motorcycle all over the town, but all of the flowers and trees that bloom in my yard are purple too!
Being said, my bike is called "Purple Passion" and it has angel wings painted on the fenders and bags. It also has a small "GJ" (my mother's nickname) painted on the front fender. She is my guardian angel and rides with me everyday!
