AARP has announced the largest number of Community Challenge grants to date, including five right here in South Carolina. In the program’s fourth year, AARP will distribute over $2.4 million among 184 grantees to implement “quick-action” projects that will create more livable communities across all 50 states; Washington, D.C.; Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
These projects will make immediate improvements, encourage promising ideas and jumpstart long-term change.
