You have the cart before the horse! The horse represents independence and the cart represents marriage. Rationally speaking the horse should be pulling the cart since Black Americans needs to be independent to get the best and most out of our marriage. Right now, since we are not independent in a country of our own White America controls every facet of our lives even our marriage, Dummy!
Black Americans descendents of plantation slaves are not a free and sovereign people in a country of our own don’t you think with your sociology degree that if we Black Americans had our own country which we will soon have our marriage would be excellent? I think so and I don’t have a degree in sociology but I have common sense!
Please find the time and effort to think and reason towards self independence in a country of our own then all the other things like marriage will fall into place. Can you do that for me!
