Please join us on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Dallas City Performance Hall for the release of The Commit! Partnership’s Annual Community Achievement Scorecard. We are excited to share our annual progress report for academic proficiency based on data from Dallas County’s 750,000+ students, and address the urgent need to close the opportunity gap that exists in our community.
The Scorecard release brings together education, civic, philanthropic and corporate leaders and partners from across Dallas County in an effort to provide a clear picture of the impact our collective efforts are having on the 11 indicators from cradle to career that The Commit! Partnership tracks, and explore opportunities for everyone to join the effort and affect change in the lives of our children.
In addition to sharing our community's annual progress report of academic proficiency for Dallas County's 750,000+ students, the Scorecard Release will also feature a keynote address by former Secretary of Education, John B. King, Jr. and a performance surrounding equity in education by actress, playwright, and professor, Anna Deavere Smith.
