Monday had a blast of rain in a incredible thunderstorm over Phoenix. That's when a large microburst cloud came falling from a huge rain cloud that looked like much of a waterfall from heaven! Microbursts are small but powerful bursts of wind that rush downward out a thunderstorm. They are triggered by falling rain, hail and evaporation. Such powerful occurrences can reach winds up to 150 miles per hour.
