By the time I was 16 years old, I was living on the mean streets of Baltimore, amidst drugs, prostitutes, pimps, police and violence.
The predictable outcome was welfare, addiction, hoin’ and death—in that order. One bitterly cold evening, I remember sitting on my corner, Monument and Federal St, steeped in urine and beer and praying, “God please help me.” The answer to that prayer came in the form of my 9th grade math teacher, Mrs. Judy Mae Francis; she saved my life.
She saw me as somebody with worth, with value that I didn’t have to earn, or prove or pay for with my body. She taught me, through her actions that I mattered.
I realized if I could see me the way Mrs. Francis saw me, maybe, I could do something with my life. 14 years later, I graduated from Stanford University with my 2nd Masters degree and a Ph.D. The same system I used to get off the streets and through Stanford has generated over 7 million dollars for my clients.

Mine was great as well and I am going to tell you guys why: I discovered the MOST Awesome, Fantastic, Coolest sistah I've ever had the pleasure of finding! Some of you may have heard of her and some of you may have not but it's still all GOOD because today, I am going to introduce BWC to the fabulous Dr. Venus Opal Reese or simply Dr. Venus (Clap yo' hands!) This woman truly has a testament for EVERYBODY! Coming from homelessness, she went and got two Masters degrees and a Ph.D from Stanford U! Homegirl is truly doin' it, DO YOU GUYS HEAR ME??? It's just ridiculous and I am just so into her spirit, her message. She is also known as the "Black Women Millionaire Mentor and she wants all the ladies to make that paper, okay? You guys really need to follow Dr. Venus on her YouTube Channel, subscribe, tweet, all of that stuff. I'm going to post some of her tidbits on here for you guys to watch (please watch, not for me but you) She is highly intelligent, educated and primarily focused on the the ladies making that six and seven figure incomes!
