Well known former coach of the NCAA Lady Vols coach Pat Summit has died. The well known women's coach is remembered as leading in most winnings in the ACA history. Summit coached the University of Tennessee Lady Vols was also elected to the Hall of Fame. Summit retired due to her on going battle of illness. Summit held her position of Head Coach over 20 years before retiring. Summit's failing health with dementia died of complications relating to her illness. Many friends and family along with Vols team players are remembering her life and how she touched many of them in special ways. Coach Pat Summit was 64 years old.
