zzzzzzz...ahem, wha, huh, wha :) Yes, ladies. Believe it or not I am awake and back on BWC. It's been a while since I have posted anything but here I am and I am on a mission. I am on a mission to reach as many ladies I can. The video that I posted on here is a news report from May 26. In short, Portsmouth Salvation Army was giving out SEction 8 applications to the public on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis. There were only 750 applications available in total. However, the video clearly shows that it was more people than applications. Due to the long line and crowds of people, fights broke out and the event was cancelled. Why must it be like this? That whenever the the government passes out crumbs, we go running towards it. Aren't we better than that? Don't we deserve more that that? My heart goes out to the young woman who was interviewed in this report because she said that she was trying to go back to school and get on her feet. I truly commend her for that. Also, the gentleman who spoke to the reporter that said he called 911 because of the fighting. It was also said that people had been there waiting in line since 4am that same MORNING! CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY IS THIS? PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY WE AS A PEOPLE ARE SO PRONE TO POVERTY AND SO DEPENDENT ON GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE?!? Well, there are several ways to look at it and we could definitely get into the dynamics of it (i.e. wealth distribution, ownership and businesses, secondary and post secondary education, discrimination, jobs, etc, etc, etc.) I have a question: If someone gave you a blueprint of how to achieve financial freedom (I mean literally telling you each step as you go, would you do it? Yes or no?) Before you answer, look at the news reel again. Who are the people standing in line? What do they look like? What do you see here beyond the news report? Really, what do you see?
