Estimating Your Metabolic Rate and Daily Calorie Needs (4528 hits)

The amount of calories necessary to sustain vital functions and carry out everyday activities is known as the metabolic rate or simply metabolism. This is the most important component of weight loss, weight gain and long-term weight management.

For long-term weight management, you must balance the number of calories you consume with the calories you burn, indefinitely.
