YOUR WORLD NATIONAL/WORLD NEWS DAY 21 April 2016 Washington, DC
The official news has finally decided to place a woman on a spending note. The U.S. Treasury has released news that Harriet Tubman will take place of Andrew Jackson on the face of the twenty-dollar bill. However, many collectors of the first run of bills will have to wait until 2020 before the circulation of the new bill to be in force. Tubman is not without recognition as she is also available on a postage stamp in circulation today. Many who are pro and con for Tubman will have to settle for the new circulation as it has been approved. The Tubman's Twenty marks a new history as being the first historic woman to be on a bill, although there are coins in print currently. The twenty-dollar bill is one of the most used form of currency in the United States.
