DANGERS OF A SILVER TONGUE (421 hits)

Greetings:

Proudness and Bragging:

Whom among us doesn't like talking about themselves?   A whole conversation can be done with self as the topic.  Dangers of self talking can also lead a tongue to speaking and producing proudness, haughty, and bragging.

Relationships of proudness is one God really speaks most against.   The "Me, Myself and I" symptoms can have you speaking too much on the subject of self and converse your way to having a danger of presenting your self worth more that others.  Although loving self is not wrong, the danger is speaking yourself into being better than God.  Things said with speech are to always should be used with caution and conscience.  Let your representation of self always be with humilty and submissiveness.  Saying less of self and better things of others.   Avoid dangers of one own tongue and always keep positiveness in saying what pleases God.

"And whatever you do, do it heartily as

to the Lord and not to men."

"But he who does wrong will be repaid

for what he has done, and there is

no partiality."

--Colossians  3: 24-25 NKJV
