Unemployment Rate for Black Americans at 7-Year Low (4512 hits)
Black Americans made strides in the job market in June, with their unemployment rate reaching its lowest level in seven years.
The black unemployment rate fell to 9.5 percent, the best showing since a 9.4 percent reading in June 2008.
Despite the improvement, the employment gap by race remains stubbornly wide. The jobless rate for African-Americans is more than twice the rate for whites and has remained in double digits nearly every month since the summer of 2008.
At the same time, unemployment rates improved in June for workers of all educational backgrounds — from those without high school diplomas to college graduates.
The data for various demographic groups came from a survey of households that is part of the Labor Department's monthly jobs report.
Intelligent Black Americans and I am one of them that realizes Black Americans can only make employment stride in our own Black American country and not in White America’s country of the USA. I thought that you were an intelligent young man, am I wrong or am I right?
Stop your foolishness and stop talking about White America and be concern about Black America since you are a Black American yourself!

This is great information to be aware of, Thanks Brother Culpepper.
My question is why is this continuing to happen even with today's news that
..."the US added 223,000 jobs in June, ... The unemployment rate fell to 5.3%, a bit lower than economists' expectations. Unemployment is now back at levels last seen before the financial crisis."...
Since you feel and you are right in your feelings that what White America does affect Black Americans then your strategy and desire my son should be to have your own like White America! By having your own country, prophet and religion my boy you will not find yourself having to talk about White America.
I want you to stop talking about White America and begin to think and talk about Black Americans! You have a slave type mentality. I want you out of it, Mr. Culpepper!

Mr. Williams,
I am not your prophet. I don't have a fight with you, why do you have a fight with me? I am the deacon's prophet since the deacon and I are the same race. Mr. Gray is a very STUPID man. My concern is to Mr. Culpepper’s way of thinking! Mr. Culpepper thinking is un-analytical and his reasoning is irrational.
To have to talk about White people because everything they do affect us Black Americans, but everything Black Americans do does not effect White Americans means that Black Americans are not playing on a level playing field. Black Americans are at a disadvantage! But, the knucklehead Mr. Culpepper would rather stay talking to White people because he thinks we have no other choice instead of desiring to be free spiritually and physically in a country of our own!
