There has been a lot of talk concerning former NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal ousted for pretending to be a black woman and whether or not her actions are appropriate. First, white people and Jewish people have always owned the NAACP. They formed the organization, they directed its agenda, they bankrolled it.
As a Black woman myself who grew up in a Black family with a Black perspective, I don't hate or ridicule what Rachel did, she looks better as a black woman, if you ask me. Yet I can't believe the audacity of the people (especially Black women) who are upset with her. I'm trying to understand the Black Women who call her crazy for trying to be a black woman, yet they smile at the black women who tries to look and emulate the white women.
I'm trying to understand the Black Women who are disappointed when videos are shown of Rachel Dolezal discussing the texture of Black Hair, when most Black Women hate themselves so much that they (to paraphrase Lauryn Hill) "wear hair weaves like Europeans and fake nails done by Koreans." Not to mention the hypocritical Black Women who spend billions of dollars on bleaching cream and nose jobs.
I'm trying to understand the Black Women who are disappointed and refer to Rachel Dolezal as a "pathological liar" for posing as a black woman, yet they have no problem praising and celebrating Bruce Jenner pretending to be a woman named Caitlyn.
I'm trying to understand the Black Women who are disappointed by how many Black Men have defended a white woman who acknowledges the fact that "Black is Beautiful", yet these same Black Women are not bothered with Kerry Washington's TV character having an affair with a white man, or Halle Berry having s*x with a white man in a VERY carnal manner.
Are the Black women who are pissed off with Rachel Dolezal are pissed off because Rachel identified as black for a long time without anyone catching on until now? Or are they upset because they try so hard to look like white women, and try to get the perks of white women but they fail?
We have to stop all the convenient bull**** and take a much needed look in the mirror. We can't get upset about Rachel wanting to be an African studies professor and say Rachel does not understand the struggles "real Black women" go through, when so many Black women don't honor their "Blackness," don't read or subscribe to any Black/African-American newspapers, and probably haven't even read an entire book relating to slavery or the struggles of our ancestors, and they've separated ourselves from our Black Men which is part of the reason WHY we are struggling.
EVERY human being on earth, shares one gene traceable back to one African woman. Scientists have named it ‘The Eve Gene’. This means ALL of us, no matter what their culture, creed, skin color, or nationality, are the descendants of one African woman.
I am really quite honored that Rachel Dolezal embraces being a black woman more than the average black women of today do. In fact, I have never known a white woman that wanted to be known as black. It's not too many that wish to be. As a white woman, Rachel bears witness to the fact that Africa is the birthplace of civilization and that Black people are Kings and Queens of the Universe. Therefore...I have nothing but respect for the "sista."
that's right you tell them, these sisters need to leave rachel dolezal alone and focus on themselves and getting their acts together and stop whining about what rachel dolezal is doing and what direction she's going in! hell if rachel dolezal want to identify as black then let her identify as black! she ain't bothering nobody
and to all y'all people complaining about her wanting to be black, what if rachel dolezal gets a dna test saying she got black blood in her? what would y'all loud mouth asses say then? after all, she does have a right to acknowledge the "black" in her like all those black folks that claim "indian" in them, doesn't she? i'm just saying

I'm not offended by what Dolezal did, I don't know for sure if the hate crimes against her were fabricated or not, I read somewhere where there were other white people (men) who have passed as black, and they did it way before Dolezal and they got no chastisement. The moment a white WOMAN did it, basically everyone is in an uproar. The undertone of this says "she must be crazy to want to pass as black," "her parents must have been god awful or abusive for her to want to do that," "she must suffer from a mental illness."
For the last few years black people have been coming out saying they are mixed, disowning their black race, wearing hair that is not theirs, bleaching their skin, getting nose jobs, etc. but it's "understandable and accepted" as normal for survival in a racist society. But when someone white tries to pass as black, something must be wrong with them???? If this woman wants to live as a black woman, that's between her, her family, and God. Leave her alone.

YES! Your post is very insightful. Rachel has been a friend of mine for many years and I agree with the things that you have pointed out. Rachel has been an advocate for justice and she was shocked at the backlash she received from the media, and especially from black women. Not only has Rachel fought for civil rights, studied African history extensively and portrayed the black experience artistically as a pro, but she feels a connection with the motherland that cannot be explained. Is she black? As you have stated, we all have originated from Africa, and I'm sure Rachel will reveal her DNA test one day. Yes, I have wondered why we, as black women, are so offended by Rachel and you have made some very provocative observations. Thank you!
