Commerating 100 years of remembering had the country of Australia celebrating all weekend long. Many of the towns and cities of Australia did remember and attended local and country-wide celebrations. The moments to remember was the 6,500 local men who enlisted to fight on the foriegn shores in WW1 and celebrates the landing of Austrian and New Zealand army corps on April 25, 1915 on the Turkish shores of Gallipoli. The day known as ANZAC Day is one of Autralia most celebrated holidays. Parades, school children, old and young gathered all over in many engagements celebrating the WW1 100 years ago.
