A SELFLESS ACT: MUSLIM WOMAN DONATES KIDNEY TO CHRISTIAN STUDENT (3853 hits)
(FinalCall.com) - As news articles and media reports are replete with stories of people across the globe targeted and killed because of their religious beliefs and groups like ISIS killing Christians, Min. Farrakhan used a selfless act of a Muslim sister to demonstrate true principles that should be exhibited by Believers in God. The Nation also does not follow the old world of what is called Al-Islam, he added.
"You think that we kill Christians?" asked the Minister. "We love our Christian family. That’s our momma, our daddy, our sister, our auntie, our uncle, our cousin, our classmates, our teammates. Did you know Prophet Muhammad never killed Christians just because they were Christians? He never killed Jews because they were Jews," the Minister said.
He called Nadirah Muhammad to the stage and used her as an example of what Muslim love for Christians truly is. Nadirah Muhammad is the daughter of Abdullah Muhammad and Sister Captain Emeritus Karriemah Muhammad, who now reside in Atlanta. Sister Karriemah assists Mother Khadijah Farrakhan.
Nadirah Muhammad is a physical education teacher and heath instructor at Westside Academy High School in Detroit. She decided to donate a kidney to one of her students, 18-year-old Aja Booth.
The teenager had been on dialysis treatment for four years and had been waiting for a suitable donor kidney for a year. While her student is still in recovery after receiving the kidney and having an additional appendectomy, Nadirah Muhammad said young Aja is doing well, and due back to school in March.
"I am able to resume all activities, and I just started back to exercising two weeks ago. I’m back into my normal routine and I feel great!" Nadira Muhammad told The Final Call.
She admitted it was a little overwhelming with the focus turned to her March 1 at Mosque Maryam as the Minister called her out the audience and saluted her sacrifice. He called her kidney donation "an act of unparalleled love" for her Christian sister. The young woman’s church also honored Nadirah Muhammad for her wonderful gift, Min. Farrakhan added.
Over 2,000 people gave Nadirah Muhammad a standing ovation in honor of her noble and courageous act.
"To be honest, I felt humbled, blessed but also so nervous! I felt very honored to be on stage with our leader and teacher, Minister Farrakhan," Nadirah Muhammad said. "The magnitude of what I did, I still can’t really wrap my head around it because to me, it is not a big thing, in my eyes. If it was my son, or another family member, I would want somebody to help. What I did was a humanitarian gesture that someone should do if they are able to do it. So the accolades and the adulation, I appreciate it, but I don’t feel worthy of all of it, because it is a normal everyday thing that people should do, if they can do it," said the modest Muslim woman. (Additional coverage of Nadirah Muhammad’s selfless act will be covered in future edition of The Final Call.)
Very touching story, may the Creator bless both of these sisters to do well!

You all are like children that get excited over common things!
There is no big deal about a Black American so-called Muslim donating a body part to another person. It has been done thousands of time by others.
I’ve been telling all of you that I am charge with the task to unite the Christians and the Muslims into one people that we are; Black Americans. The wall and division of Christianity that Mr. Farrakhan respects when he said the Christians are our aunties, mothers and fathers need not be said because we are one people.
There should not be a North Korea and a South Korea; it should be one Korea! Once there was North Vietnam and a South Vietnam, but now there is only one Vietnam.
So, the so-called Christians and Muslims are really one people; Black Americans descendants of plantation slaves. I and not Mr. Farrakhan are charged to unite us into one people to enter into our sovereign country as I have described.
You heartless, lonely, old dusty black man, don't you care about anyone or about anything. You, who have not done a damn thing for anyone, have the nerve to call is very generous action, common, is a understatement.
What have you done for the our people HARRY? Have you gave a Kidney to anyone? Or gave credit to anybody for the unselfish act of kindness?
Black Americans need and wants goes far beyond a kidney! I never said that it wasn’t a charitable act! My point though is that Mr. Farrakhan thinks and believes the so-called Black American Christians are different from the so-called Black American Muslim and that is not true. We are ONE people; Black Americans descendants of plantation slaves.
Mr. Elijah Muhammad was the one that divided Black Americans with the Islamic religion! Now, student minister Mr. Farrakhan is saying that the Christians are our aunties and mothers….! No, we are still ONE people and I am charged with the task of uniting us into ONE people.
How our unity will come about is to take Christianity and Islam away from Black Americans since neither religion is ours and mandate the acceptance of our God given religion named LIFE.
Siebra and Ms. Bride are from the same race, but they are spiritually divided and only I can bring them together.
This post of yours is outside of the scoop of the video. It was you who said that you saw this video. Since you don't repeat jokes, if you saw the video, you would know that what the minister said was no joke. Now, if want to talk about the topic, tell me what the minister said that he will not do?
This is my last comment to you on this blog. I am not interested in arguing with you over nothing. You have not made any points or raised any important issue to debunk what I said that Black American so-called Christians and Muslims are ONE people. What artificially separates us is the White man’s Christian religion and the Arabian Islamic religion and Black Americans are not White and are not Arabian.
However, Mr. Farrakhan believes Black Americans are religiously two different people that he would make such a big deal about the kidney donation!
You are looking for an argument and I am interested in what is best for Black Americans religiously, academically and physically. So, this is my last comment to you on this blog!
The reason why I stay on you act is because you have LIED once again about viewing this video, by your sad attempt to hijack this fine blog, to fit your on going, never ending disdainful of the minister and his accomplishments to clean up, educate, and rehabilitate our people to be business people, educators, builders of a nation. This actions, you can't stand and I know this about you.
When you said, out off your own mouth that you had watched the minister and you would not answer the simplest of question about what he would not do, by the way, he said he would give his life but not a kidney. I knew then that I have busted you in another LIE.
