Jamacian born and resident of the Bedford-Stuyvesant resident in Staten Island did live to be that great age. Dame Ena Elizabeth Schouburgh celebrated her 107th birthday in June 2014. However, she passed away on February 03, 2015. Dame Ena lived a complete life as a vegetarian and was a career nurse.
She celebrated her birthday at the CABS care home with friends and dignitaries. She was honored as Dame by Public Adovate Tish James. Funeral arragements for the Dame is set for February 17, 2014 at the Pine Lawn Cemetary in Staten Island. Many will celebrate her passing.
