Releasing Thoughts to Find My True Self is Going Home (969 hits)

It is so easy for me to get caught up in life.

There is a lot of noise to wade through from the Internet, television, media, an advertisers, which is just like having hundreds of strangers stream through your home shouting their opinions.

Home is like our mInd.  However, our mind is not our true home.  This is simply our identity we have made up with thoughts, and beliefs about ourselves.

Our true home is our Higher Self, some call God, which is always Present, and is the Awareness of all that we experience.

In order for me to go home, and live in the truth of peace and happiness, I have to first stop being busy and see that if I am suffering, I have created that suffering from the false beliefs I hold onto.  What are these beliefs?  It can be anything, depending on the day and what is happening.   Fears, lack, frustration, hurt.  All which are simply created by our imagination, and not the truth of who we really are. Our ego-Minds can spin us in crazy directions with false thoughts.

To be the witness of my thoughts, I have  to shut off the noise by unplugging everything and sit in silence.  This allows me to observe and  discriminate the thoughts that  keep me stressed and anxious.  These are also fears, which are really the ego-Mind's way of protecting us.
