A doomsday message alarms humanity as the Doomsday Clock moves just minutes to midnight. The Bullentin of Atomic Scientists has moved the clock only two minutes before midnight on Thrusday, January 22, 2015. This is closest the clock has been in 31 years. The latest was in 1984 when during the United States and the Sovient Union's Cold War. Scientists calculate the clock's ticking forward to Doomsday because of many failures in leaderships around the world along with weapons of mass destruction, and the enviroment's changes around the world. The gradual move up to Doomsday was five minutes before midnight in 2012. The Doomsday clock was first established in 1947. Since then the closest it's been to midnight was in 1957 when it was set at 11:58.
