The first commandment is to have no other God but the Creator. It is a damn lie that the first commandment is to show love!

Harry Watley
HARRY,
Putting YAH first is showing love and respect for the creator, showing LOVE it is following The First Commandment not to put no other God before him.
Harry, the first commandment is to love God. That is showing love. The second commandment is like to it, to love one another. That is showing love. It's impossible to love God but not one another. Show love.

Gentlemen, The reason why I am a very intelligent man is because I don’t play with terms and meanings. The first commandment and I agree with Prophet Moses is to have no other God but the Creator. Love is a different thing. Love is an emotional feeling that has nothing to do with the first commandment.
Let us not compare apples to oranges. Compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges, okay idiots!
So you are a Hebrew after all Harry?

It is the LOVE for YAH keep's his people on the right path, following his Laws and hearing his voice. Do you have the LOVE of the most high, GOD? you knucklehead?
This will be my last comment because you all are going around in circles. Find the word LOVE in the first commandment for me and I will admit that you all idiots are right. But, if you don’t find the word LOVE then don’t respond because I will know that you are admitting that I am right!
28 One of the scribes who had come up and heard them disputing, knowing that he had answered them in a fine way, asked him: “Which commandment is first of all?” 29 Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, 30 and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” 32 The scribe said to him: “Teacher, you spoke well, in line with truth, ‘He is One, and there is no other besides him’; 33 and to love him with one’s whole heart, with one’s whole understanding, and with one’s whole strength and to love one’s neighbor as oneself is worth far more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 At this Jesus, discerning that he had answered intelligently, said to him: “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” But no one had the courage to question him anymore.
4 “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. 5 You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength. 6 These words that I am commanding you today must be on your heart, 7 and you must inculcate them in your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as a reminder on your hand, and they must be like a headband on your forehead. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

In Exodus Chapter 20. Verses 1-5 God spoke with an introduction of Himself. He speaks of having no other gods and or making images of heaven about or in earth beneath and how God his jealous and in
After this introduction is established God begins with Verse 6
Verse 6 of Exodus Chapter 20 : --God speaks of "LOVE FIRST HIM.. followed by then keep my commandments.
Verse 6 reads: from KJV
6. " And showing mercy unto thousands of them that "LOVE ME" and keep my commandments."
Which indicates God is speaking commandments to follow.
In verse Mark 12:28 KJV The First Commandment is delivers... "There one God attached and you must love God." as one and first commandment.
“The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, " and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength." This is the first commandment.
TO HAVE NO OTHER GOD SHOWS LOVE. LOVE GOD IS FIRST A COMMANDMENT GIVEN OF HIMSELF."
That man talks like a damn fool on this one. He talks like he is dim or unber the influence something deeper ignorance when it comes to his love for YAH / GOD.
WHICH IS FIRST? (113 hits) WHICH IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT?
of the Creator or Musa(as)
bottom line ----- if love means in English OBEY ----- OK
----- Love in English is GREAT and youAll Love to use kingJamesEuropean version to describe the Recorded Words of the Creator of Adaam(as) of Africa Asia
AT LEAST USE THE African Asian Hebrew Original with a decent meaning.........
7 You Should not make a graven image, even any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
You Should not bow down to them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, spiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate Me,
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years come to their end, when you shall say: 'I have no pleasure in them';
In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out shall be darkened in the windows,
What is this Robert? You would argue against love?

@ Robert if love means OBEY?
To obey means to LOVE. There is certainly a clarification that to obey God you will LOVE Him. If this is not so, explain further --What if any there is any greater difference in love and obedience? I am understanding in order to be obedience, you must love to obey the commandment to love God first.
Love God first, and obey God. Can you give a clarified explanation of LOVE and OBEY?
Maimonides, in his Mishneh Torah, devotes the whole tenth chapter of Hilkot Teshubah, with reference to Abot i. 3, to love of God as the motive which gives all human action its true ethical and religious value. Maimonides wrote that it should only be out of love for God, rather than fear of punishment or hope for reward, that Jews should obey the law: "When man loves God with a love that is fitting he automatically carries out all the precepts of love".[15] Maimonides thinks that love of God can be developed by contemplating Divine deeds or witnessing the marvels of nature (Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Yesoday HaTorah, Chapter 2).

Sûrat AlMu’minûn (The Believers, Those that Love to Obey the Creator) XXIII
In the Name of Allâah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1. Successful indeed are AlMu’minûn.
2. Those who offer their Salât (prayers) with all sincerity and full submissiveness.
3. Those who turn away from AlLaghw (dirty,evil, falsehood, fraud and all that Allâah has forbidden).
4. Those who pay AzZakât.
5. And those who guard their chastity (private parts, from illegal s*xual thoughts and acts)
6. Except from their wives that their right hands possess, - for then, they are free from blame;
7. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors;
8. Those who are faithfully true to their Amanât (all the duties which Allâah has ordained, love, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts) and to their covenants;
9. And those who strictly guard their Salawât (prayers) at their fixed stated hours.
10. These are indeed the inheritors
11. Who shall inherit AlFirdaus (Paradise).
They shall dwell there forever.
12. And indeed We created Adaam out of an extract of clay (water and earth).
13. We made from Adaam as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female s*xual discharge and lodged it) in a safe lodging, the womb of the woman.
14. Then We made AnNutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So Blessed is Allâah, the Creator.
