About This Chic Named Fear (693 hits)

Have you ever run into this chic named, "Fear" on the street? This female is real slick with it, I can’t stand the sight of her. She’s one of those who talks loud, sometimes with subliminal messages, but isn’t saying anything (Isaiah 29:13). Girl, let me tell you about her.

I had an altercation with her recently and I wasn’t alone. My girl, Faith was right there by my side. What had happened was, a new adventure came my way and something I had prayed about for while was answered. God gave me this vision and opened up a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to start it and I was super excited. It was time to be about my Father’s business and out of nowhere, Fear comes knocking on my door like we friends, blasting that she was going to block my blessing bringing up all kinds of negativity that it won’t work, longevity will be short lived, it will fail, so I told her she was trespassing on kingdom property and slammed the door in her face.

Trying to be a lady, I had to let her know real quick, I didn’t have her sad, detestable spirit, but confronted her and told her, she could say whatever because I have love, power, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Game face on, Faith had my back taking off her earrings and pulling back her ponytail, pushing me back telling me I didn’t have to be afraid of nothing.

Fear became real aggressive, but everything she tried to impose on and stop, my Faith got louder. I had to let her know to get off of me! Yeah, I swung at her and she hit me with that you can’t do it; you not gone be nothing; you ain’t that favored; look at where you been…reminding me of things I wish to forget. My Faith reminded her to step off because God has a wonderful plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11) and besides, He had already forgiven me and moved on (Psalm 103:12, 1 John 1:9). Only a petty feeble mind like Fear would bring up the past and be a blessing blocker.

I’m telling you, let this be a warning to you about this chic named Fear. She’s dirty, grimy and loves to pop up unexpectedly with drama. Do not believe anything she says because she’ll get you caught up with her girls; Shoulda, Wolulda and Coulda and have you sleeping with Regret .

Woman-to-woman she’s known to be messy like telling you can’t raise those kids on your own, you might as well not go back to school and finish the degree, she says stuff like settle, don’t nobody want you, you’re residue, worrying about how you will make ends meet, your business will fail, and people are going to talk about you if you do this or say that… to all kinds of griminess. The Word of God says, a gracious woman retains her honor and that’s cool, but word to the wise, keep your girl Faith around, cause Faith is crazy, and has this substance (Hebrews 11:1) about her that never fails to put a bruise on her enemies’ head, and always down for what she calls “the good fight of Faith” (1 Timothy 6:12) whenever and wherever the situation calls for it.

Handle your business.

Sounds like many people on the "Connect Platform" as the legendary late Great James Brown used to say: "Talking Loud and Ain't Saying Nothing"!!
