The owner of a pet goldfish noticed his little pet was not having its normal functions of excrement decided to take his watery friend to the vet for a check up. After the fish got a complete observation, it was confirmed the fish suffered from a case of constipation. There would need to be a operation to remove the blockage and the owner was given all the warning and complications that could occur during the surgery. However, the owner felt confident enough to continue and have his little friend undergo anethesia and the surgery. With careful surgery veternian and the assistants kept the fish wet and in water while it was administered gas to put the small animal asleep. The fish was kept with close observation with a heart monitor while the blockage was removed. The operation was a success, but the owner did pay a hefty price of 300 pounds. Which he indicated was worth it all for his little friend.
