Capricorn, the Goat or Sea Goat, is the 10th sign of the Western zodiac. Souls born between December 23rd and January 19th are born under the constellation of Capricorn. This sign, Capricorn, happens to be special to me not only because it is my birth sign, but it is also the birth sign of my son Okapara, who is my firstborn child.
Capricorn is a cardinal sign. In the language of astrology this means Capricorns are concerned with initiating change and setting things in motion. They are initiators! Cardinal signs are the most active and enterprising of the Zodiac.
Capricorn is an Earth sign, meaning they are passive (do not like confrontation), receptive (takes in a lot, very emotional), and introverted (can easily be to him/herself which is great for spiritual purposes). 1. Barley Barley is very high in fiber. It is also high in selenium, which is a liver detoxifier. Both of these attributes enhance the elimination of toxins and aid in the alleviation of arthritis, from which many Capricorns suffer. A half cup of barley in soup or as a side dish a couple times a week will help keep knees flexible for all arthritis sufferers, Capricorn or not.
2. Cloves Cloves are very high in manganese and have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also high in potassium and stops cravings for sweets, making it a great food for Capricorns, as they should forgo sugar for the most part. Besides all the other negative effects of sugar, we dont want any cavities in those beautiful Capricorn teeth. All other signs that want to show off their pearly whites should also start munching on celery.
6. Lamb Lamb may be the perfect and most nutritious meat and source of protein for all signs, not just Capricorns.
